Explanation of Chart


State - State in which the vehicle is registered vehicle.
Year - Year the law was introduced.
Net/Film - Refers to the % of visible light allowed to pass through both the film and the window (Net) or just the film itself (Film). Vague means that the legislative is unclear.
F. Side - Front driver and passenger side windows.
B. Side - Back driver and passengar side windows.
Rear - Rear window.


Car versus MPV - There are normally two classes of vehicles. Regular car and truck (Car) or a sport utility vehicle, also known as a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV). Note: Pickup trucks are rated the same as an MPV.
